You know your project helps people.
We're here to prove it with numbers.
Measure the real impact of your programs without long surveys or costly research. Fornix helps NGOs, health teams, and social impact organisations collect simple, inclusive feedback from the people they serve and turn it into clear, measurable health and impact data.
01. The Challenge
Impact is invisible
without proof.

Retrospective Data
Funders and boards demand real-time evidence — but data collection is manual, fragmented, and always retrospective.
No Unified System
Programmes running across multiple sites have no unified system to aggregate or compare results.
Normative Gaps
Standard psychometric instruments are normed on Western populations — leading to unreliable results in Southern Africa.
Information Lag
Expensive once-off research arrives too late to adapt to community needs today.
02. Why Fornix?
Built for
The Real Africa.
African Context by Design
Our psychometric instruments and data architectures are built from the ground up for the Southern African developmental context.
Real-time, Not Retrospective
Stop waiting for year-end reports. See evidence of change as it happens across every programme site.
End-to-end, Not Point Solutions
From clinical assessments to funder reports, we handle the entire data pipeline in one unified architecture.
Our Solutions
Tools built for impact.
M&E Engine
Real-time data collection and automated impact reporting across community sites.
DiscoverFornix Assess
Fast, culturally adapted psychometrics and language-inclusive digital assessments.
DiscoverNeuroTutoring

and a few engineers.
The For Niks Story
In brain anatomy, the Fornix is known as the Memory Highway - the part of the brain that makes new memories and communicates experiences.
So we built Fornix to do exactly that for communities: capturing lived experiences so they are never forgotten or ignored. But the real story starts with a profound lack of accessibility. To be frank, I couldn't afford an ADHD assessment, and a harsh reality set in:
If a standard clinical test costs R6,000 and carries a six-month waiting list, what happens to the child from Pietermaritzburg ofunda nje ukukhuluma isingisi? Who's guardians were never taught about mental health growing up and who can't even afford the follow-up treatment?
They fall through the cracks. Life-changing diagnoses remain out of reach. South Africans remain fractured and disadvantaged because they lack the data to prove their need and the tech to determine their own future.
In South Africa, "for niks" means for nothing. Our slogan is our goal; that's how much we believe it would cost for us to change mental healthcare in South Africa forever. Ons kan dit vir niks doen nie.
We are driving the cost of world-class, language-inclusive impact measurement down so low that it is essentially accessible for niks. It might be terrible business practice to continually charge less for our services, but we don't care. We want to change the world, and this is sincerely how we believe we can do it.
